Goal
To
provide an opportunity for Indigenous women to hone their leadership
skills through acquiring
in depth knowledge of the issues and
practical skills for program development, fundraising, communications
and non profit administration
EALP is a partnership
between selected interns and a recognized group of seasoned activist
and mentors, host sites and
foundations and individual contributors
that support EALP. The multiplying effect of this program is
exponential over the years, as the participants become leaders and
ambassadors for the organization, the struggle and the program.
The EALP program operates for 6 months throughout the year from May 1st – October 31st each year. Applications are accepted for the program until April 1st of each year. The EALP is open to Indigenous women of all ages, however youth will be the priority. Participants receive a stipend for their work in addition to accommodation. Please fill out the application HERE to apply and email it to iwn@indigenouswomen.org. |
