The mission of IWN is to support the self-determination of Indigenous women, families, communities, and Nations in the Americas and the Pacific Basin. Indigenous Woman, the publication of the Indigenous Women’s Network, contains articles, analyses, and coverage of problems facing Indigenous peoples today, as well as current strategies and solutions Indigenous communities are creating to restore and defend native sovereignty, cultures and Mother Earth. Leading Indigenous women activists from throughout North American and the world are regular contributors to Indigenous Woman.
